The project is a new multifamily development that aims to provide high-quality and affordable housing options for the residents of Pomona, CA. The site is located in a single-family residential neighborhood and this is one of the first multifamily apartment complexes in the area. The design of the project is sensitive to the existing context and complements the neighborhood character.

The project consists of 20 townhomes that are arranged in four clusters around a central courtyard. Each townhome has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, an den, a kitchen, and a private outdoor patio. The townhomes are designed with modern and sustainable features, such as energy-efficient appliances, solar panels, and low-water landscaping.

The central courtyard is the heart of the project and provides a variety of amenities for the residents and visitors. The courtyard features lush landscaping, a children’s playground, a basketball court, a park area, and barbeque stations. The courtyard also serves as a social space where people can interact and enjoy the outdoors. The renderings of the project help the architect and developer to effectively communicate to the city and neighboring public about the benefits and impacts of the project. The renderings show the proposed site plan, elevations, perspectives, and materials of the project. The renderings also demonstrate how the project fits into the surrounding environment and enhances the streetscape.

One of the challenges of the project was to resolve any hesitance from the city on the building’s color palette. The city initially preferred a more subdued and neutral color scheme that would blend in with the existing houses. However, the architect and developer wanted to create a more vibrant and distinctive identity for the project that would attract potential buyers and investors. Through versatile iteration, the renderings were able to showcase different color options and convince the city that a more colorful palette would not detract from the neighborhood aesthetics, but rather add some diversity and interest.

The renderings will also serve as effective marketing tools to promote the project to potential investors and buyers. The renderings will highlight the unique features and advantages of the project, such as its location, design, amenities, and sustainability. The renderings will also create a positive image and impression of the project that will appeal to different target markets.
